Dr. Jacques Drazsnzak (Dr. D) grew up in Fayetteville, Arkansas, at the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. After graduating from Fayetteville High School, he accepted an Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps scholarship to attend the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, where he graduated with honors with a degree in computer science and mathematics.
He was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force, and after graduating from Intelligence School at Goodfellow Air Force Base in Texas, he served from 1992 until 1998 in several capacities as an Intelligence Officer, earned the Joint Service Commendation Medal, and received an Honorable Discharge.
During his service he received a master’s degree in education from George Washington University and attended the University of New Mexico to complete the necessary academic prerequisites for veterinary school.
In 1998 he was accepted to Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2002 and moved to the central coast with his wife, Allison, who is also a veterinarian.
